Whether it is an interview for a job or for an employee who is already in an organisation and looking towards his or her his future growth, the process of identifying his or her Strong qualities, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Tenacity will always create extremely high levels of not just clarity bit also self- confidence! Obviously the chances of the candidate passing the interview and subsequently getting the job was negative. “Well Sir, I have many strengths,” he said this and then went quiet. “I would like to know specifically about your strengths and how your strengths can become an asset for our organisation” he firmly told the candidate. It was while he was telling the interviewers about his love for travelling that one of the interviewers got a bit irritated and stopped him. Upon hearing this the candidate started explaining about himself in a very generalised manner explaining about his past work-experience and started talking about his hobbies. In one of the interviews a candidate was asked “Tell me something about yourself.”

It is that exercise where every employee working in the organisation begins to explore and subsequently recognise his or her areas of strengths various areas of weaknesses future opportunities for growth and development and then, finally, the development of the attitude of tenacity that can help in dealing with ‘Obstructions or Hurdles’ in the growth ‘path’.
